  • Quicken is not up to date

3 Simple steps to fix Quicken White or Blank Screen 

STEP ONE: Install the latest update

  • Download the latest update of Quicken
  • After installing the update you need to verify your data
  • Go to File > File Operations > Validate and Repair…
  • Make a check on Validate File and click OK.

  • Now close Quicken and try to reopen it.

STEP TWO: Try to connect Quicken ID on website

  • Go to www.quicken.com
  • Move your cursor to sign in option and select My Account
  • If webpage open you can be connected with a Quicken ID server and if not check your internet connection

STEP THREE: Turn off the firewall

Windows 10

  • Press Windows+R keys together, a run box will pop out
  • Type Control or Control Panel in the run box
  • Select System and Security
  • On the next screen select Windows Defender Firewall
  • From the left side click on Turn Windows Defender Firewall On or Off
  • Now choose Turn Off option and click OK

Windows 8

  • Press Windows+R keys together, a run box will pop out
  • Type Control or Control Panel in the run box
  • Select System and Security
  • On the next screen select Windows Defender Firewall
  • From the left side click on Turn Windows Defender Firewall On or Off
  • Now choose Turn Off option and click OK

Windows 7

  • Click on Start icon
  • Select Control Panel
  • Click on System and Security
  • On next screen click Windows Firewall
  • From the left side click on Turn Windows Firewall on or off
  • Now choose the option to turn off and click OK

Mac OS

  • Click on Apple menu
  • Select System Preference
  • Click on Security or Security Privacy
  • Click on Firewall
  • Now click on the lock and type your name and password
  • Click Turn Off Firewall
