4 Simple Steps to Fix There are Downloaded Transactions to accept in Quicken but you don’t see them

Step 1: Ensure that the search field doesn’t contain any text

Once you open the account register make sure that the search field doesn’t contain any text because the account register will show the result that matches that text.

You can find the search tab to the top right corner of an account register. If it has some text please remove it for complete account information.

Step 2: Turn Automatically Entry Off

  • Go to Tools > Account List (Ctrl+A)
  • Click on Edit to the affected account from the account list
  • Now click on Online Services
  • Then click on Automatic entry is: ON
  • Now select No on the next window and click OK
  • Now automatic entry show as “off”
  • Then click OK and then Done
  • Now close and then reopen Quicken

If you have this problem with the multiple accounts, you can do the following:

  • Go to Edit > Preferences…
  • Then click on the Downloaded Transactions tab
  • Uncheck the Automatically add to banking register
  • Then click OK

Step 3: Ensure about Account register and Online center

Quicken does show the downloaded transactions to the different location. You can check them using the account register and online center.

Check downloaded transactions using account register

  • Click on the account
  • Now select the Downloaded Transactions at the bottom of an account register
  • If you can see the transactions under the Downloaded Transactions section click on Accept all.
  • If you can see the transactions under the Downloaded Transactions section, please proceed further with the below steps.

Check downloaded transactions using Online Center

  • Go to Tools > Online Center
  • Select the correct financial institution(to the top left corner) and account
  • If the transactions are listed click on Compare to Register…and accept the transactions
  • If no transactions are listed, please proceed further with Step 4

Step 4: Troubleshooting Quicken Data File

There are some chances that your Quicken Data file is damaged and that showing you “There are Transactions to accept in Quicken but you don’t see them” error.

If you know when this problem started you can simply restore the Quicken backup file.

If you don’t have a backup to restore. You can utilize the inbuilt feature in Quicken known as VALIDATE.

To Validate the Quicken Data File:

  • Go to File > File Operations
  • Select Validate and Repair
  • Choose Validate File and click OK

This process may take some time depending on the data file size. Once the process will be completed you can see the logs about the file. You need to wait until the logs come up on the screen and in case it’s unable to validate the file please don’t close Quicken.

Once the validation is completed you can try to update your accounts again.
