Create a Quicken Backup

- Go to File > Backup and Restore > Backup Quicken File

Simple Steps to Fix Quicken Error CC-898
Step 1: Update Quicken to the Latest Release
- Open Quicken Software
- Go to Help > Check for Updates
- If an update is available to download click on Yes to launch it
Step 2: Refresh Account Information
- Go to your account that causing this error code
- Under your account register, click on the gear icon (with the drop-down arrow) to the top right-hand side corner
- Click on Update Now
- The next window prompts you to enter your Quicken vault password or bank password (If password vault isn’t set up)
- Then click Update Now
Step 3: Wait 12-24 Hours
Error CC-898 may also occur because of the temporary connectivity issue. We suggest you, wait for a business day and then try to add or update your bank accounts. You may also speak with your bank to know about this issue.

Step 4: Deactivate and Reactivate Account

- Go to Edit >Preferences
- Then click on Downloaded Transactions
- Under the Downloaded transactions preferences, make sure to uncheck Automatically add to banking register
- Then click OK
